or: The Whining of Sour Grapes
We spent the whole day together again, he says.
She still says she wants to be friends,
she says she doesn’t feel anything stronger.
It’s making me crazy!
I want to spend my life with her,
but she pushes me away.

and stomped them, and bottled them
and put them in the cellar to age.

They know they’ll still be together
when the wine is ready to drink.
